Exploring London

We made it!!! We arrived to London around 6:30 am London time and met up with our Delegation Manager, Ben, @ 8:00 after making it through customs and such quite easily. Immediately we found our coach and were boarded for a long day of touring the London area.

First we saw Runnymede, which is the location of the signing of the Magna Carta, and we also saw the 1 acre part of America located in England. It was given to the U.S. by Queen Elizabeth as a memorial to JFK.

We then ventured over to the Windsor Castle and wandered around the town of Windsor. Once we got into the city of London, we went to Covent Garden, an outdoor shopping market and off to get some Fish & Chips.

We moved on to the London Eye. What a sight!!! We could see the entire city of London from there. Some great pictures were taken from there. They should be great to share.

We're checking into our very nice hotel and are ready to clean up and freshen up for dinner.

Time to go for now. We'll update whenever possible. Looking forward to a great time in the upcoming days.
